Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

The Challenge

Most enterprises are deploying AI blindly, measuring software licences instead of actual value, and ignoring invisible communication silos. At xzeptiq, we are building XRAI-OS — the operating system for the Cognitive Enterprise. We are looking for a CTO who can take the technical vision of our multi-dimensional intelligence platform and scale it across regulated European enterprises. This is a role for an elite engineer-leader who understands that what a system is forbidden from doing must be architecturally impossible, not just policy-restricted.

Your Mission & Responsibilities

→Scale the Intelligence Core. Oversee the advancement of the Cognitive Collaboration Graph (CCG) and its federated network architecture.
→Defend Privacy-by-Physics. Ensure our Sovereign Edge Node (SEN) and its memory-mapped volatile purge buffers remain architecturally verifiable and works council-ready.
→Govern Agentic Workforces. Architect the infrastructure to discover, monitor, and enforce policy on shadow AI and autonomous agent systems running at the enterprise device boundary.
→Lead with Technical Rigour. Directly manage and mentor senior engineers specialising in production-grade Rust systems, graph databases, and applied ML.

What You Bring

✓Enterprise Tech Pedigree. Deep, practical experience building and scaling massive multi-agent orchestration or cloud architectures within highly complex corporate environments (EMEA footprint is a plus).
✓Deep Graph & Crypto Literacy. Strong foundational knowledge in graph theory / network analysis (Neo4j / DGraph) and cryptographic primitives (SHA-256 whitecoding).
✓Compliance Fluency. Comfort navigating strict European data governance frameworks, including GDPR Art. 25/28 and DACH works council co-determination standards.
✓Hands-on Mentality. You still love code. You can credibly lead an architect-driven team because you know what "careful work" looks like in production.

Compensation Package: By Austrian law, we are required to state the minimum collective agreement salary for this position, which is € 5,301 gross per month (IT-KV, level LT). However, as a Co-Founder, your actual compensation will be custom-tailored. It consists of a substantial direct equity stake in the FlexKAP combined with a salary component, structurally designed to match your market value and our startup stage. We are explicitly willing to overpay the collective minimum through this combined equity and salary package.

Software Engineer

The Role

As a Software Engineer, you will be a core hands-on contributor responsible for designing, building, and shipping xzeptiq's core platforms and products. This is a founding-stage, hands-on engineering opportunity. From day one you will be deeply involved in "vibe coding" and building our technical infrastructure, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders to translate strategic business needs into robust, secure, and production-ready technical solutions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

→Hands-on Development. Write high-quality, production-ready software (vibe coding at the start) and contribute to critical architectural decisions.
→Feature Delivery. Own features end-to-end, from concept and design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
→Engineering Excellence. Uphold technical standards, engineering best practices, and code quality benchmarks, and help evolve them as we grow.
→Collaboration. Work directly with the founders, data teams, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into working software with high delivery velocity.
→Continuous Improvement. Contribute to a culture of learning and innovation by sharing knowledge, reviewing code, and proposing improvements.
→Security & Compliance. Maintain a strong focus on system reliability, privacy, and compliance considerations critical to enterprise AI environments.

What We Are Looking For
